Prints & Purchasing
I currently don't have any system in place for purchasing original art or prints. However, if I get enough requests from potential buyers, I will make fine art giclée* prints and possibly originals available for sale. If you're interested, contact me!
Please note that character portrait commissions become the property of the buyer and will not be available as prints.
Commission Pricing
I don't have set rates for book illustration, since the standards and budgets of small publishers vary widely. After we discuss your project, we'll decide on a fee that works for both of us, but please keep in mind I don't work for free or for royalties. Character portrait pricing is below. Character Portrait Pricing:
Black & White: $200
Color: $400
Background: +$100
Extra character: +$100 ea
*A giclée is a relatively new type of print, using a high-resolution digital file and archival inks, providing better color accuracy than other types of art reproduction. Each droplet of ink used in a giclée print is about the size of a red blood cell.
