  • Metrophor - "thaumapunk": a new genre with sorcery instead of machinery as the driving force in a gritty, dystopian world
  • Sluggy Freelance - one of the oldest webcomics, taught me that a comic could be both silly and dark, wacky and inspiring
  • Something Positive - a sarcastic, bitter take on reality that pulls no punches
  • XKCD - stick figures with bizarre and strangely insightful moments amidst hardcore geekiness
  • Ozy & Millie - anthropomorphic characters with all the innocence of Calvin & Hobbes and none of the maliciousness

What I Play When I Actually Have Free Time

  • World of Darkness - a gothic/punk reflection of our world, with werewolves, mages, and vampires
  • Shadowrun - cyberpunk + magic and a great combat system make this my favorite role-playing game
  • Tales from the Floating Vagabond - the only drinking-themed RPG, I've done some art for the second edition
  • GURPS - Generic Universal Role-Playing System, excellent character creation system and perfect for fantasy worlds
  • Feng Shui - Action Movie Role-Playing, where you get bonuses for cool stunts
  • The Noble Wild - animal characters reminiscent of Redwall and Watership Down
