I drew this scene for a class on movement, using a photograph as inspiration. While drawing, I accidentally smeared the charcoal with my palm and the resulting streaks gave the wolves a dynamic energy I really liked. I rendered them a little more fully, smeared the drawing again, and added a final layer of detail.
