Shadowrunners are skilled mercenaries, and some of them follow a code based on the bushido law of feudal Japan, but few of these street samurai serve masters like their namesakes did. Unable to express his heart in any other way, Locke "Scar" Ironedge swore fealty to Chante Veridian, an urban elf shaman. Bewildered, Chante accepted his service, and only later came to understand what he was truly trying to tell her. For my senior art project, I drew a comic based on the trials they faced, and this is a double-page spread from that comic.
